From the beginning of its history in Belgium, the chocolate was considered
as a gift. In 1912, the Belgian confectionery created the praline, a filled
chocolate mouthful which perfectly complied with its gift vocation. To protect
the delicate nature of the praline, an adequate packaging has been
patented under the name Ballotin. Since then, the ballotin de pralines
became the perfect gift appreciated in all circumstances.

Founded by Jean Galler in 1976, the Galler chocolate-making business is
above all a family concern. Jan Galler creates the finest Belgian Chocolate
and is the supplier to the Belgian royal court. In 1995, he introduced the
Langue de Chat (Cat Tongues) inspired by Philipe Geluk’s famous Comic
strip. The Chocolate treat quickly became a hit mostly due to the perfect
combination of praline and chocolate. With only 18 Langues de Chat per
ballotin, you and your family will find it hard to resist another one. After more
than a decade of drought, here in America, Baladoché is proud to present to
you the famous Langue De Chat in dark chocolate (70% cacao) as well as
the milk chocolate. (31% milk, 31% cacao)
